This Cookie Policy explains how the MaoGon website and platform use cookies and similar technologies. It supplements our Privacy Policy.
1. What are cookies
Cookies are small text files stored on your device when you visit a website. "Similar technologies" include localStorage and session storage, which work the same way. Some are strictly necessary for the site to work; others are used for analytics or marketing. MaoGon uses only strictly-necessary cookies and storage. We do not use advertising trackers, analytics cookies, or third-party marketing pixels.
2. Cookies and storage we use
Authentication (Supabase)
- sb-* — Supabase session cookies that keep you signed in across pages and refreshes (strictly necessary; expires on sign-out or session expiry)
Security (Cloudflare)
- __cf_bm — Cloudflare bot management (strictly necessary; ~30 minutes)
- cf_clearance — Cloudflare security clearance (strictly necessary; ~30 minutes)
Preferences (localStorage)
- mg-lang — remembers your language preference (EN / NL / FR) for the platform (until you clear browser storage)
- mg-theme — remembers your dark/light theme choice (until you clear browser storage)
Payment (Mollie)
- Session cookies set on Mollie's hosted checkout page during a payment (strictly necessary; see Mollie's privacy policy)
3. Consent
Under the ePrivacy Directive and Belgian law, strictly-necessary cookies do not require prior consent. Because MaoGon does not set any non-essential cookies, we do not display a cookie consent banner. If we ever introduce analytics or marketing cookies, we will update this policy and request your consent through a banner before placing such cookies.
